Das Channel Country wird dominiert von den drei grossen Flüssen in Outback Queensland - dem Bulloo River, dem Cooper Creek und dem Diamantina River.

Nachdem das Weideland um 1850 am Darling River in NSW langsam knapp wurde, stiessen die ersten Squatters in das heutige Gebiet des Channel Country vor.

Unsere Reise führte von Quilpie über Innamincka nach Birdsville.

The Channel Country is dominated by the three big rivers in Outback Queensland - the Bulloo River, the Cooper Creek and the Diamantina River.

When pasture lands became short around the Darling River in NSW, the first squatters explored the present-day area of the Channel Country.

Our trip through the Channel Country guided us from Quilpie to Innamincka and Birdsville.
